Our CEO
Aaron Weisman is a thesis-drive investor who aims to be in the right opportunity at the right time. The son of a real estate investor and the grandson of a real estate attorney, Aaron has spent his entire personal and professional life immersed in the nuances of real estate.
Aaron joined Marcus & Millichap in 2005 to lead a team underwriting diverse real estate products worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Leveraging his experience, he started purchasing investment properties as well as substantial equity positions in publicly-traded Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) that were trading below Net Asset Value (NAV), leading to substantial returns.
By the end of 2012, when publicly-traded REITs resumed trading above NAV, Aaron shifted his primary focus back to Main Street real estate opportunities and established Gomel Capital Partners in 2013 to build on the rapidly emerging market opportunity in Dallas, TX.
Following his lead of being in the right place at the right time, he has identified Affordable Housing as the next significant opportunity, and it now Gomel Capital Partner's primary focus.
